Project Overview

The mission of the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association is to protect the quality and beauty of the Wissahickon Creek and to enhance life in the watershed.  Over the past 50 years, WVWA has protected more than 100 acres.  The Association has established a land conservation fund for the purpose of maintaining a financial reserve to enable quick response when land protection challenges arise.

Project Benefits

Replenishing this fund ensures WVWA's capacity to protect dwindling open space within the watershed. The goal is to have funds at the ready, enabling nimble and effective preservation action.
